It all begins in the field! Each and every berry produced on one of our Winterwood owned farms in the UK, Poland and South Africa is grown with care and passion. Across more than 2,500 hectares, we grow conventional and organic blueberries in addition to other high quality soft fruits. Outside of our own production, we work with select growers sharing our agronomical expertise learned over years of farming different varieties, climates and soils which enables us to extend our offer of top-quality berries to our customers. All of this, paired with our own state of the art packing facilities in the UK, Poland and South Africa, puts us in a unique position to manage berries through every step from field to customer ensuring a stress-free, reliable service and high standards from start to finish.
Growing with confidence
Our experience in growing berries is second to none, starting in the UK in 1978 with just 1 hectare of land growing Raspberries & Strawberries, Winterwood now farms over 2,500 hectares across UK, Europe & Africa with 95% of the crop now being blueberries. With unrivalled varietal and agronomical knowledge learned from growing both Northern High Bush and Southern High Bush varieties over the years, we are able to make the best selections to produce top quality fruit from each of our farms.

Using cutting-edge packing technologies & equipment, alongside exclusive processes we maximise usage of all harvested fruit, mitigating the risk of fruit rejection, to fulfil every order to the precise and exacting requirements of our customers in the UK, Europe and further afield.
