As growers, we understand the importance of handling fruit correctly at every stage of the packing journey. From intake through packing and finally to dispatch, our systems and equipment are designed to ensure we meet customer specification while minimising fruit waste to keep the growers and customers happy.
All of our packhouses run our proprietary packhouse management software ‘The Winternet’, written by our own programmers in house to meet the exact needs of our operations, focused on improving quality, efficiency and reducing fruit waste. This software allows our packing service customers to see the exact amount of ‘Live Stock’ they have at Winterwood at any point in time, QC reports, stock allocations and much more, giving you complete open visibility on what is happening with your fruit.

United Kingdom
Winterwood Packhouse

Our UK facility is a 5,000m² purpose built soft fruit packhouse located in Maidstone, Kent—ideally positioned for road and sea imports and with excellent access to all major UK retailers. The site operates eight high specification packing lines supported by controlled atmosphere storage and blast chilling capability.
Five manual lines handle punneted fruit such as strawberries and raspberries, with 72 weighing stations across the lines. Each is equipped with heat sealers, metal detection systems and checkweigher technology to ensure consistent quality and food safety standards.
Three dedicated blueberry lines incorporate advanced optical sorting, debris removal, sizing systems, heat sealers, metal detectors, check weighers and multi head punnet fillers—delivering efficiency, accuracy and premium product presentation.
Poland
Polana Packhouse

Our packhouse at the Żelimucha farm is a purpose built 4,500m² facility operating five packing lines and offering flow wrapping, heat sealing, and lidding for both Polish and wider European markets. Its location also provides excellent access for distribution into Germany.
The site runs modern, high specification equipment, including Marco weighing stations, optical graders, check weighers, metal detectors, and automated punnet filling systems, mirroring the advanced technology used at our UK facility.
Additional services include controlled atmosphere storage and freezing capabilities, supporting both fresh market and processing market requirements.
South Africa
Dreampack

Dreampack, is located in Saron, Western Cape, and includes both a dedicated table grape packing facility and a modern blueberry packing operation. This facility is ideally located for both retailer packing and exports.
The table grape facility is equipped with advanced packing lines and high capacity cooling systems, capable of reducing 384 pallets from 25–35°C to 0°C every 24 hours. Dreampack processes approximately 17,000 pallets of table grapes during its compact 10–12 week season.
The blueberry packing facility mirrors the capabilities of our UK and Polish sites, offering both optical grading and manual packing via weighing stations. It is fully supported by on site cooling infrastructure and controlled atmosphere storage to maintain product quality and shelf life.
